Franchise FAQs
The initial investment for a Farm Stores single-unit franchise ranges from approximately $245,800-$540,000. The fees associated with purchasing an existing store will differ from the new single-unit fees.
Farm Stores does not provide direct or indirect financing, however, we may be able to refer lenders and equipment leasing options.
Farm Stores new franchisee training is comprehensive, but there are a few skills we would prefer that you’re equipped with beforehand, including previous business management experience, a background in customer service, and exceptional people skills. It is also very important to us that you have an appreciation for, and an ability to follow, proven systems. And, of course, almost beyond any requirement on paper, the Farm Stores franchise family values prospects with a high level of integrity.
We would prefer that our single-unit franchisees are hands-on owner operators. However, we understand that, especially in a multi-unit scenario, other managers will be required. We just ask that these managers exhibit the same level of hands-on dedication that an owner would. Farm Stores headquarters will train your managers according to our standards.
Farm Stores provides franchisee support for as long as you operate your store. Past your comprehensive initial and pre-opening training, we have an ongoing system in place to provide you with everything you and your employees will need. Within the Farm Stores franchise family, you are never alone in business.
Yes, franchisees will pay the greater of $300 or 5% of total weekly gross sales revenue from their store. There is also an ongoing advertising and marketing fee of 1% of gross sales revenue.
While there are no guarantees as to how each individual store will do, upon request, we can share with you the details of our Item 19 in the Farm Stores Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
Yes, we utilize a full-time real estate representative to identify suitable sites for future Farm Stores locations. There is a $1,000 fee for this real estate location service.
Yes, most of our available territories are wide open for area development and multi-unit franchise opportunities.
